Anne Elise Stratton hails from the wild foothills of Missouri and has spent the vast majority of her life surrounded on all sides by corn fields. She is interested in working to obliterate those blasted monocultures and replace them with agricultural systems based on biomimicry and self-sustainability. This makes her particularly prepared to act as TMC’s Co-Eco Rep with Tara Kola for this year. She and Tara have a series of projects in mind for environmental improvement both at the Loj and on campus. Anne Elise’s proposed projects include planting an apple orchard and berry bushes (mmm pie!) and working toward a CSA share for the Loj. If you’d like to have a role in these or any other sustainability projects related to TMC, feel free to email her at a.e.strat@gmail.com. Happy trails!
